    Write the Love

    Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 04:17 PM [General]

I try to write my love

    When I shed mine tear

I try to tell, my dove

    Of what I hold dear

Or at least what is true

    About what thine makes me

Feel like I have to do

    But please just let be

    Thou hast killed my heart

    So tis ice cold

    How thee ripped me apart

    And now we grow old

So I write my true lie

And so we both now die

Okay, so that one's a bit odd. I wrote it a while ago.

    Dearest Sir

    Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 02:30 PM [General]

As the moon, I hath many faces and none have come close to conquering them all;not many know this, and so i remain alone.

As the night, my darkness hath a scary way, and none have yet figured out how it is that I've made my home.

Thus I will remain for all time here and settle nicely among the stars and sleep soundly as the night goes by me and slips away.

None have found a way to keep me as one of their own sweet things and I laugh in a humorless and cold way.

    You can find out soon,

    How I'm like the moon.

The title is to illustrate how this is to be taken like a letter. Actually, the first line was taken from a note written to a friend, if you want to talk of inspiration. :)

    Why?

    Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 02:14 PM [General]

I wrote this one sometime about a year ago.

Why do I shed my tears?

For all my hopes and fears?

    What is the point today?

    Can't I just run away?

    Why can't I say what I wish?

Show my feelings with a kiss?

    Why can't I be who I want?

    Without the hints and taunts?

Why do I shed my tears today?

When all I want is to run away?

    Why do I?

    Why can't I?
    My tears,

    My fears.

    Powerful Lady Moon

    Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 01:00 PM [General]

The Moon holds power as it sways away

She chooses her will to hold in thine eyes

And thus your cruelty holds powerful ways

As you sing that sweet tearful lullaby.

My Lady, I tell thee what I do see,

Of the way the Moon takes hold of thine heart

And does make thee as its-self against me

And so has driven you to play apart.

Like the Moon holds sway, thee hast hold me too

Like the Moon turns round, to me thy back turned

You threw my love, as the Dark moon will do

Your many faces cause my blood to burn

You have skill of making many a boon

And thus you will remain, my mistress moon

This be a sonnet written in Shakespeares style that I writ for my Shakespeare class. If you know anything bout his sonnets, he refers much to the Dark Lady. This sonnet is to compare his Lady with that of the Moon. I hope it fares well for thee.
